The Nike Tykes Preschool is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and licensed by the State of Connecticut. The school year follows the Manchester Public School year follows the Manchester Public School calendar. Children ages 3-5 are served. A five-weeks "mini-camp" is offered in the summer. Call 647-3168 for information or for a tour of the school.

The program features learning centers which address skills such as large and small muscle control, classifying, sorting, investigating, categorizing, creating, imagining, and cooperating. Group time and individual choice time, as well as outdoor play, are part of every day. The staff has a high level of training and experience in early childhood education. Registration for new students begins on Thursday, February 18th.
